The First Day Of School!

After acing her assesment test on Monday, Morgan was so excited to start First grade today! She had her new backpack and lunch box and she was smiling from ear to ear. She was most excited about eating lunch at school, and she really likes her teacher.

Jordan started pre-school on Tuesday. I can't believe how big he is. He was so excited to have his own backpack with wheels just like sissy.

I cannot believe that school starts on Monday! The summer went by so fast. We did lots of fun stuff. We went to San Diego and went to Legoland and the beach, We went to the pool lots, We went camping and riding, and we had lots of barbeques with our awesome friends! I always feel kind of sad at the end of the season, but we are all excited for school to start!

Last night when I went in to check on Jordan I found myself standing in the doorway just watching him sleep...so peaceful, so content, so sweet, my heart so full of love!

Las Vegas Baby!!!

We went to Las Vegas for the weekend with friends and had the best time!! We had dinner at a really fun place at the Excaliber called Dick's last resort, then we went down to old town Vegas and wandered around Freemont Street, they have a cool lazer light show.

We had a nice pool at our hotel, but the water was sooooo cold! I guess they want you to stay inside and loose all your money.

The water show at the Bellagio is awesome!

There is also a really cool show at Treasure Island, but we did not get to see it this time, they had to cancel because of the wind.

Greg and I decided to try something different....yes, we went for a ride in a helicopter! We flew over to Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam and then back around to the Vegas strip. It was so fun.

Last weekend Gregs mom and his Uncle Dennis came to visit from West Virginia. We had a really good time. We rode 4 wheelers....

We played in the river...

We drove around the Alpine Loop...

And we went to Squaw Peak.
