Our Sweet Little Boy...

Any one who knows Jordan knows that he lives in his boxers. He hates to get dressed, and as soon as we are home, he strips down. He plays outside, rides his bike, whatever, in his underwear. I gave up a long time ago, who really cares, right?

So the other day I am doing some laundry and when I come out into the hall he is in his boxers, dancing in front of the mirror, and singing "Oh yea baby!" He absolutely hates it when we laugh at him, so I hurry into the bathroom so he won't see me laughing. While I am in there putting away towels I hear this, "It's party time,Oh yea baby, it's party time!" When I turn to look, he is completely naked, shaking his stuff in the mirror and singing. I couldn't help myself, I burst out laughing and couldn't stop for a few minutes. All the while he is still at it. I was talking to Greg on the phone and he kept asking what is so funny, it was a while before I could get it all out. I then asked Greg what he had been teaching our son. His reply was "You don't see me dancing naked in front of the mirror, do you?"

The Dinosaur Museum...

We went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point yeaterday with my sisters and thier kids. We had a great time, AFTER I convinced Jordan that they WOULD kick us out if he insisted on climbing in the exhibits. There were a lot of fun things for them to do...

Here are a few of my favorite Jordanisms...

"Poofy heads"..this is what he calls dandilions after they turn white.
"Water pops"..this is what he calls otter pops.
"Twinkles"..this is what he calls twinkies.
When it is hot, he says "Let's go sit in the shed." (He means the shade, of course!)
When we play GO Fish and I ask for a card he does not have he says "Nope, goldfish."

I needed to write these down so I can remember what cute things they say!!

At The Cabin...

We went to our cabin in Fruitland for memorial weekend, the weather was horrible. It rained all day Saturday, so we were couped up inside. We watched movies and played games with the kids. Grandma and Grandpa were there, and luckily Grandma brought her Nintendo DS, that kept Jordan entertained for hours!
Friday when we got there Morgan caught this lizard, with a little help from dad. It was so funny, she did not want to touch it unless she had gloves on, but she sure tried hard to get Jordan to pet it.

We stopped at Strawberry Reservoir on our way home from the cabin to do some fishin' last weekind. The kids were so excited, but it was really cold and windy, so they did not last too long. Needless to say we did not catch any fish, but I got some cute pictures....

First Grade Program...

Morgans class had a little program the last week of school. They sang songs, read stories and poems that they had memorized througthout the year. They did an awesome job!!
