Knee Surgery...

It has been three days since I had my ACL replaced. I am finally starting to feel better. The first day home I think I over did it a little bit, left my ice off for too long and yesterday I paid for it!! My leg hurt so bad and I was so nauseous! But today is better, the pain is under control and I take the ice machine with me everywhere!! Check out this contraption....

And I am gettting pretty good with the crutches, just need a little practice on the stairs. Hopefully I will only need them for a week or two...

Pre-School...

Today was Jordans first day of his second year of pre-school. He was so excited to go that when he ran out to the car he forgot his shoes. So as he was putting them on he said "I better hurry, I don't want to be late."
But when we got there, he did not want to go in, go figure....

After only a minute of crying, he was fine and had a really good time! His friend Teegan is in his class this year, which made today a little easier!

A Day At The Lake With The Fam...

Yesterday was a great day! It was a record breaking 102 degrees so we decided to head to the lake. We had a boat full with Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Casey and my niece, Eleesa. We almost lost Grandpa and his wheelchair at the dock when we were getting him in the boat, but other than that little bit of excitment we had so much fun...

Jordan loves to jump off the back of the boat, it is his favorite thing to do second to driving really really fast! He sits up in the front and yells "Go fast dad, Go fast!" Then he screams "This is so awesome!"

Another favorite of the kids is the inner tube, thay love to go fast and Jordan loves th e big bumps! When it was Uncle Caseys turn, Jordan told Greg "Just go fast and spin him in circles so he will fall off!" They think it is funny when the adults crash, but heaven forbid if it was them...

First Day Of School....

Today was Morgans first official day of second grade. It is hard to believe she is so big! Tuesday night was back to school night and we met her teacher Mrs. Eldridge. Then on Wednesday she had her assessment testing, which she did great on. She has been so excited for school to finally start, in fact she has been asking about it since summer started...

Morgan loves walking to school with her friends. Today I walked with them because Provo City is doing construction on the street that they usually walk down to get to the school, so there was a detour and I wanted to be sure they got there OK. Plus it was the perfect opportunity to get some great pictures of her and her friends...

Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia....

Last week we flew out to West Virginia to help Gregs parents pack up their stuff to move here to Utah. This has been in the works for a few years and finally they sold their house. Greg had the great pleasure of driving the U-haul home, it took him four days.
The best part of the trip was visiting family that we don't get to see very often. We went over to the Starkey household and had a great afternoon...thanks Alan and Naomi!!!

Alan gave the kids a ride on the "tractor." They had never been on a riding lawn mower, they thought it was awesome, but they kept saying "Go faster Alan, go faster!"

Morgan and Snowball....

Great Grandma Dunn...

Grandpa Shaffer...The kids were so excited that he was coming home with us....

Cousins...We don't get to see these kids often enough. My kids were in heaven. Jordan and Travis wrestled and played guns and the computer together.

We were also lucky enough to get everyone together for a cookout before we left, it was such a fun night!!!

Jordan loves his cousin Courtney, and he had to sit by her to eat...
