Riding In Style....

When the limo arrived at the house last week, the kids were super excited. Morgan immediately got on the phone to call her cousins. Jordan ran outside and jumped in. As I was getting in, I overheard Jordan say "Well Morgan, I guess dad really does love us, he got us a limo" I laughed so hard!! Greg had arranged for them to be dropped off at the babysitters, they were ecstatic that they got to go for a ride. Morgan did not stop grinning the whole way to my moms house! Jordan informed us that the drivers name was Clayton. Greg asked him how he knew that and he said "He told me." As we are driving down the road he says "Hey Clayton, thanks for the ride." So cute! He kept saying over and over "I must be dreaming, I must be dreaming, this is too awesome!" When I looked over he was pinching himself, then he said "nope it's not a dream I really am riding in a limo. Mom, you better pinch yourself and see if you're dreaming!" Some of the things he comes up with, I want to remember forever.

Our Anniversary.....

Yesterday was our fifteen year wedding anniversary. FIFTEEN years. Wow. I can't believe it has been that long. Greg told me a few weeks ago that I need not worry about making any plans, He already had every thing planned. Awesome!! We were picked up at the house by Diamond Limosines and driven to Salt Lake.....

We ate dinner at Fratelli Ristorante in Sandy. It was voted best Italian food in Salt Lake the last two years. It was delicious. When we got back in the car we decided to exchange gifts. Greg had a little package for me with a huge new diamond for my ring. He has been promising me a one karat diamond for our fifteenth anniversary since we got married, so it was not a huge surprise, but I was very excited!!
The last surprise of the night was our final destination. Greg booked us the Presidential Suite at the Anniversary Inn. It was awesome!! Not only were there rose petals scattered all over the floor, a huge two person jetted tub, and a double-sided fireplace, but also a private balcony with an amazing view. Too bad it was rainy/snowy and cold so we were not able to really enjoy it. Here are some pictures.....

Happy Birthday Jordan...

Jordan turned six years old today, I can't believe heis so big!! On Saturday he had his party. He wanted a Captain Jack Sparrow party, not just a pirate party. Since the new movie doesn't come out until May,I had a really hard time finding party stuff. In fact I only found one balloon that had Captain Jack. So we had to compromise and get "just pirate" for the rest of the stuff, but Jordan was insisting on having Captain Jack on his cake. I knew Wal-mart and Maceys would do a picture cake, but I could not find a picture that was the right size, and if I blew them up at all they were very distorted. I was freaking out a little I must admit. Then I went online and found an edible cake topper with an awesome picture of Captain Jack, Will and Elizabeth, yeah!! But this meant that I had to make the cake....what?!? It turned out pretty awesome I think and Jordan was so excited!! Here are some pictures of the party.

The presents....

I was a little skeptical when Greg said he wanted to get him a big wheel, since he already knows how to ride a bike, I thought he was too old for one. But Greg insisted that he needed to have one. After all Greg had one and he also had a bike and he loved his big wheel. We actually thought about it last year but Jordan was too short. In fact he can barely reach the pedals now!! It was a big hit, Jordan loves it!! Greg was right once again, I have to admit!!
