At The Lake....

We took our boat out for the first time this year on Sunday. Jordan loves to drive the boat and go super fast! The kids fight over the spot in the very front of the boat, it is their favorite place to ride. We had such a great time, I can't wait to go again!

Memorial Weekend

We went back out to our cabin for the long weekend. The first day we were there Greg caught this lizard. All the kids got to hold it and pet it. I guess because it was early and a little chilly, the lizard just sat there and did not even try to get away. So the rest of the weekend the kids were trying to catch thier own lizards, but they are FAST little buggers!! On the last day Morgan was finally able to get one in a sand bucket. The funny thing was that the day before Greg caught the same one by the tail, and the tail actually broke off in his fingers, so when Morgan brought hers in the bucket to show us, we were pretty sure it was the same one because it had no tail.......

Jordan's Pre-School Graduation

Jordan graduated from pre-school today. He is so excited to start Kindergarten next year. He can't wait to go to the big school with his sister! I for one am very excited for summer break, can't believe how fast this year flew by.

Nothing Stops Jordan

Apparently having a broken arm does not stop Jordan from doing the things he loves to do, I guess that is a good thing, right?? Except when I look out the window and see him jumping and rolling around on the trampoline. But he did figure out a way to hook his bad arm around the chain on the swing....

Morgans Rock Collection.....

Morgan has been learning about rocks in school for the last while. They had an assignment to make a rock collection. They needed to find different kinds of rocks, rocks that were smooth, rocks that were rough, rocks that had stripes in them, rocks that were shiny or had crystals in them, etc. etc. Today they had a "Rock Show" in thier classroom so that parents could come and see what they had collected and the kids could tell them all that they had learned about rocks.

In class the other day they also made pet rocks. Here is Morgans....

Bath Time

Bath time at our house is not always pleasant. Jordan usually cries when I say it is time for a bath, and gets defiant. He says he doesn't want to take a bath, and he is NOT going to. He yells alot. But then once he is in the tub, he won't get out. I do not understand it, it is a really good thing that Greg has WAY more patience than me!! In fact Greg usually handles bath time and most nights he puts the kids to bed too. So Sunday night when I mentioned that Jordan had not had a bath since he broke his arm on Tuesday, (I know that is terrible, don't judge me) Greg made this contraption out of bread bags, twisty ties and packing tape, so that his splint would not get wet, it was hilarious! I am hoping that when he gets his real cast, it will be water-proof, I have heard that they have them, we will see. But for now, this will have to work.....
