Kneeboarding......

Let me first say that Morgan has told me many times that she was NEVER going to kneeboard. So you can guess that I was really surprised when she came home from the lake with the neighbors and told me that they had taught her to kneeboard. At first I thought she was joking around, but she insisted that she had done it. She has been asking us everyday since to take her to the lake so that she could show us. She got up on the first try, I was super excited!! I love to kneeboard, it is my favorite water activity, so when she said she didn't want to learn I was a little sad. I really thought that Jordan would learn before her. This is a child that has been too afraid in the past to even ride on the tube because she was afraid to fall in the water and have the boat drive away from her. Go Morgan.......

Playing Pool......

Greg has been teaching Jordan to play pool. I think it is so cute!! He has his own step stool to stand on if he needs to, which he carries around with him....

And he chalks his own cue stick after every shot, just like dad.....

I love that he loves to play, and I love that Greg loves to play with him!!!

S'mores.......

The kids were so excited to make s'mores on our camping trip that we didn't even what until it was completely dark. Morgan had everything all laid out and ready even before Greg had the fire going.....

Even the pot guts enjoyed our tasty treat since someone (I won't name names) left a whole s'more out on the picnic table all night long. I was actually surprised that it made it through the whole night.....

Fishing Worms.....

We did not have one bite from a fish, even though we asked them at the marina store where the best place to fish was. The kids lost patience and were complaining that they were bored. Then Morgan decided that it would be fun to play with the fishing worms. At first she was afraid to pick them up, but then she found it wasn't so bad. Soon they started pulling them apart, I know...GROSS!!! And then they just started throwing them in the water, WHAT?? I guess it is a free buffet, if the fish want them, so it is time to pack it up and go back to camp......

Morgans butterfly.....

As soon as we pulled into our camp spot and started setting up camp, Morgan saw that there were tons of butterflys flying all around. She immediately wanted to get her net out and chase them. The first one she caught was tiny, but she was determined to catch one of the huge yellow and black ones. It didn't take her as long as I thought it would, especially because she has zero patience!! She finally caught this one and was so excited to show it to her cousins, but they had left to go fishing. I told her we could just show them these pictures and that she should let it go, but she wanted me to find something to put it in. All we had was a cup and some plastic wrap, which did the job.....

Four Wheeling Fun......

The kids have been begging us to take them four wheeling. We have not rode one time this year:( So today we took them. All of the places that we usually go riding either still had snow, or were closed because of all the trees that are down in the trails. So we went to Five Mile Pass in West Desert. It is a really fun place to ride, in the spring or the fall, but today it was super HOT!! We only lasted about two hours, but we had a really good time, just the four of us.....
