Pumpkin Patch...

We took the kids to Pumpkin Land at Vineyard Gardens on Saturday to pick out pumpkins. Greg always has to get one too, and his is usually the biggest one he can find, but it has to be shaped just right so he can carve "something really cool." This year Morgan decided she wanted a great big pumpkin too....which of course led to Jordan wanting a huge one also. I told them that they would have to gut them by themselves, so while Greg was looking at pattern books, they found some transfer faces that glow in the dark, so no gutting of the pumpkins at our house, except for Greg....

Miley Cyrus Concert...

For Morgans Birthday present we got her tickets to the Miley concert. We went with my sister and my niece who also had a birthday in September. I know some of you out there don't care for Miley or her music, but my kids LOVE her! They know the words to most of her songs, Jordan always asks to listen to her in the car, and he sings along too. Sometimes I wonder if he likes her more than Morgan. I thought about taking him to the concert, but Greg said no way, and took him to have "boy time" (they went and played laser tag with my nephew.) And I have to admit that I even have a few of her songs on my I-pod.
We had a really fun time, we went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory before the concert :) We got there way early so we were able to get some pictures, cotton candy,dippin dots, and a drink, we were all set...









Morgan thought it was way too loud, she kept asking me why every one was screaming. Don't get me wrong, she was singing along and having fun but she was covering her ears a whole lot....



I was not allowed to bring my camera with the big zoom, so I had my point and shoot. Here are some of the picI was not allowed tures I got, not too bad concidering how dark it was and how far away we were (yes, we were definetly in the cheap seats, but hey, we had fun)...

Breakfast With Grandpa...

Jordan sure loves his Grandpa. He likes to sit by him on the couch and watch "cowboys" and this morning he climbed up in bed with him to eat breakfast...

Happy Birthday Morgan...

Tuesday September 22nd is Morgans 8th Birthday! We celebrated on Saturday with a pirate party. She wanted to have a treasure hunt, and the pirate theme went from there. We even had our very own pirate to gaurd the treasure...thanks Uncle Casey! We made all of the guests pirate hats and everyone got an eye patch, then we played games to win the pieces to the treasure map. I started to take pictures of them all dressed up, but I was a little overwhelmed by the 20 children that were there. (Keep in mind that 9 of them were cousins plus Morgan and Jordan.)

The Zoo...

Last Sunday we decided we needed to get out of the house, so we went to the zoo. The weather was perfect, a little overcast and cool. The kids really enjoyed the bird show and the train ride. I think over all their favorite animals were the monkeys and the new baby elephant....
