Reindeer and Gingerbread...

Today at mom and me we made gingerbread houses. Jordan helped decorate with yummy candy (the ones he didn't eat that is). We always have a lot of fun with our friends at mom and me!

Count Down To Christmas...

This is my favorite time of the year! We always put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. This year Morgan was so excited to help, she wanted to put the "ingredients" on the tree! I laughed so hard when she said that! As she was taking them (the ornaments) out of the box, she kept saying "Wow mom, where did we get all of these, they are so adorable!" We had a lot of fun!
When we were finished, she asked "Is Santa coming tonight?" I told her no and that on Monday, Dec 1st, we would start the countdown. Jordans favorite part was setting up the train, he didn't care much about the tree.
So this morning the count down began, we have an advent calander that plays music when you open the doors, and inside each door there are treats for the kids. They have been waiting patiently since friday, and the first thing Morgan said to me this morning was "Mom today we get to open the calander, remember!" Also starting tonight we will read a christmas bed time story every night until Christmas. I just love the whole feel of the season and all the fun traditions!

Halloween...

Morgan was a Bunny and Jordan was a Monkey!! Halloween seemed to last forever this year, first the pumpkin patch, then trunk or treat, then carving pumpkins, then they each had costume parties at school and the playgroup party for Jordan, and Morgans school had a costume parade on Halloween! It has been crazy, but lots of fun!



Morgan wanted me to dress up as a cat, so I found this tiger costume and decided it was close enough!!



We went with some friends from playgroup to down town Provo to trick or treat right after school. Marley was tinkerbell and Ethan was a skunk. The kids had a lot of fun!



Then we went up to my sisters house so the kids could trick or treat with thier cousins, the cave women and the headless scarecrow!



Look at all the candy Jordan got!! Morgan has a bucket full like this and also a bag with more...just what we need!!

Playgroup Halloween Party...

We had so much fun at playgroup today! Jordan was dressed in his monkey costume. We played games, bobbed for apples and had lots of yummy treats!!

Fall Leaves....

Fall Break At The Cabin...

We spent the weekend at our cabin in Fruitland. The kids love it there, they can ride all day long and go for "adventures" as Jordan calls them, which are really just walks around the cabin, or climbing up the rocks, and usually involve finding treasures of some sort... mostly rocks. They had so much fun playing with thier cousins!

Pickin' Apples...

Today for playgoup we went to pick apples! The kids had a lot of fun and we got tons of yummy apples! Then when we were finished, everyone came to our house and we made mini apple pies, they were delicious!!
