The Fun Run.....

Every year the kids school has a "Fun Run" fundraiser. The kids get people to sponser them if they run, to raise money for field trips and such. They run two laps which I believe is one mile. Morgan and Jordan both ran the first lap. Morgan decided she was finished after that, she was "soooo tired!" But not Jordan, he was determined to finish, and to run the whole thing......

He was so excited to be done!!

 "Now where is my otter pop?" is what he said as soon as he saw me! After lots of high fives, he ran off in search of it.....

Pickin' Pumpkins....

We took a Family trip to The Big Red Barn in Santaquin to pick our pumpkins this year. It was lots of fun!! You take a hayride to the pumpkin patch which is about five minutes from the barn.....

Once you get over there, they have a giant slide, a corn maze, tons of pumpkins everywhere, and lots of photo places.....

Then we wandered over to the field to pick out our pumpkins. Jordan knew just what he was looking for, but Greg told him he had to carry his own, so he had to re think his plan....

Morgan always goes for the little ones, she thinks they are cute......

All in all, a great afternoon!! Totally worth the drive to Santaquin I think.

Eleven Years Old.....

Morgan turned eleven last Saturday.....I know I say this every year, but I can't believe how fast they grow up!! She invited a few friends over to celebrate......

She asked me to make her a turtle cake. We found these cute gummy turtles online and decided to put them on cupcakes.....

She got lots of fun stuff from family and friends......

We spent a few hours at the Ropes Course down the street. The kids and Greg got to zipline and ride the giant swing......

She had a great day with lots of fun friends, cousins and tons of laughing and goofing around. Happy Birthday Morgan!!

Greg And The Kids....

I love to take pictures of Greg with the kids!! Morgan is such a daddy's girl, and she is so much like him that sometimes it amazes me!! Jordan and his dad are best buds, he wants to do everything with him and be just like him!!

First Day Of School.....

Wow!! The summer flew by and today was the first day of school!! Jordan started Second Grade.....

And Morgan is a great big Fifth Grader......

They were super excited this morning. They couldn't wait to get out the door. Morgan picked out her favorite new shirt to wear....

Jordan got a new backpack and lunch box......

(He decided that Transformers were for "babies"....WHAT??)

I'm sad that summer has come and gone, but glad to have some sense of routine back. Now we will have Scheduled Chaos versus just Chaos!!
